Choose a bisque-fired ceramic piece from our available inventory and bring it to life with glaze. Once finished, your piece will be professionally fired in our kiln, transforming it into a durable, food-safe, and beautifully finished item you can use or display at home.

This class is an easy, low-pressure way to enjoy pottery without working directly with wet clay. No mess, no wheel, just creativity. Whether you’re looking to unwind, try something new, or make something meaningful, Pick & Paint is a fun and satisfying way to get hands-on in the studio.

Paper Quilling

Quilling, or Paper Filigree, is the art of rolled, shaped and glued paper to make a unified decorative design. The name is thought to come from the fact that birds feathers, or quills, were used to coil strips of paper.

The art of quilling has been around for centuries with a historical background that spans continents. During the Renaissance nuns and monks would roll gold-gilded paper to adorn books and religious objects, later it caught on as a leisurely activity for affluent women.

Paint Like Bob Ross

This relaxing Bob Ross inspired snow scene painting will allow you to unleash your creativity this December! Enjoy a morning of painting “happy little trees” with our talented instructor. Bring your friends, your favorite snacks, and your creativity to this fun-filled morning at the Tamaqua Arts Center!

Mosaic Spring Workshop – 2 in 1

Join us for a fun and creative spring mosaic workshop!

In this class, you will create a beautiful floral mosaic design on one wooden shape of your choice (3 shapes available), size 6” x 6”.

You will work with pre-cut stained glass pieces and colorful ceramic tiles, making it easy and enjoyable for beginners and experienced students. I will guide you step by step through the design process.

What you’ll learn and do:

• Design a floral mosaic composition
• Use pre-cut stained glass and ceramic tiles
• Grout your project the same day using premixed grout
• Practice mixing grout with paint to create your own custom grout color

Join us for The Big Benefit Lounge, a one-night-only celebration of music, art, and community

The Tamaqua Arts Center’s most important fundraiser of the year.

Guests will enjoy a vibrant, lounge-style evening featuring:

Entertainment for the evening will be provided by Micah & The Loose Threads, featuring Owen Coursen, Greg Dobash, Ron Feltenberger, Miles Coursen, and other special guests.

Conjure Your Own

Join Conjured at the Tamaqua Arts Center just in time for Mothers Day for a night filled with conjuring your own scents! You will be able to add your own scents, colors, and herbs to both the scrub and spray you will be making in this class. Bases for both are premade, so the fun is left in personalizing yours. All supplies and materials are included, just bring your excitement to explore this new craft. Spots for this class are limited so make sure to get yours before they’re gone! 

Powerhouse ensemble We May Be Right delivers an electrifying performance wowing audiences of all ages as they authentically re-create the music of one the greatest Rock and Roll Keyboard Players, “Piano Man” Billy Joel. A New York City Skyline sets the backdrop with the band delivering hit after hit along with some of Billy’s best deep cuts. Night after night We May Be Right bring the audiences to their feet and singing along to all of the classics!
